There is a small block that the shift cable linkage goes into the shifter and it is a known problem with many saturn cars that this breaks. Luckily its pretty easy to actually fix but getting to the actual area is a b*tch. I currently just have a cotter pin holding it in there and it works pretty well but I have trouble downshifting into second. There is a 3D printable part that I may try to print and see if that fixes my troubles.
