The transmission on my Saturn Vue went at less than 60,000 miles. Taxpayer bailout and bankruptcy of GM means I'm on the hook for the full cost. From what I'm reading, I can expect more problems in the future. What a nightmare.

3rd gear hesitating in manual mode

Had the transmission replaced, not under warranty. The replaced transmission started to leak, everything was OK, other than that. After having the leak fixed, the 3rd gear in manual mode, started to hesitate, now it is really terrible--I do mountain driving, and I am afraid to take it up to the mountains at this point. Took it to the dealership where I had the tranny replaced, and they couldn't find anything wrong with it--it also has a humming noise at 1100 RPM or lower.

Think it is a TSB Number: PIP-4327A problem, the 35R clutch wave plate may be broken. This is suppose to be a major problem for: 2008-2009 Saturn VUE

All Equipped with 6T70/75 6-Speed Automatic Transmission (RPOs MH2, MH4, MH6 or MY9).

Want the dealer to fix it--How the heck do you do that?
