Since we bought our Skoda Fabia one year ago (less than 13000 miles) we've had the following problems:

Rear speaker not working (not connected up when replaced) Faulty temperature gauge causing car to cut out. Broken central blower vent. Tape stuck in cassette (fascia chipped on return from repairers) Blown cylinder head gasket. Leaking water pump x 2. Leaking sump X 2 (sump had to be replaced) Jammed nearside electric window.

Response by Skoda Customer Services - tough - you're getting nothing from us!!

Could you warn your readers that if they're thinking of buying a Skoda, they could be paying a lot of money for the privilege of continually taking the vehicle back to the garage for repairs, not to mention being brushed off by SkodaAuto Customer Services - they wouldn't even offer us anything for cleaning all the oil spots off our drive - my 15 year old Mazda gets through less oil!!
