The drivers seat has collapsed to the floor board of the car. When it initially happened it almost caused the driver to pull the steering wheel which would've caused an accident. Fortunately there wasn't another car coming the opposite direction at the time. We told the manufacturer about the problem through the dealer and they refused to correct the problem.

Forenza 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 51,000 miles
The contact owns a 2005 Suzuki Forenza. While driving approximately 25 mph, the driver side seat went backwards. The contact drove to the dealer and they stated that two springs and one rod failed. The seats railing system failed and needed to be replaced also. The dealer only replaced the two springs because the rod or the railing was not in stock. The current and failure mileages were 51,000. The left front seat adjust was broken. Updated 12/12/07
