My fiance owns a 2005 Suzuki Forenza. About 10 days ago the transmission gets stuck in limp mode.(Safe mode)....

It takes 5000 rpms just to get it to move 6 inches. Literally just has no power. After doing some research on this make and model , I have found hundreds of complaints with very similar symptoms. Most seem to be centered around the transmission range sensor. So i perform an OBD11 scan and sure enough . TRS is throwing a code....

I replaced myself in around a half hour. The part was only $39. After performing the repair , the car took off right away....... But only for a few minutes and back to limp mode.... Very frustrated at this point and could use some advice on correcting the problem.

In addition, I have seen many forums where people from all around are joining together to try and force Suzuki to correct their problems with the transmission in this model.... I want to join in on such an effort as this is just another case of big shot corporate robbery... Build a car that doesn't work properly for long and make millions off of the back of hard working families.....
