Consumer received NHTSA recall letter 03V512000 concerning accelerator cable casing cap. Vehicle was taken to the dealership, and technician determined accelerator cable needed to be replaced, but couldn't guarantee how long it was going to last.

Consumer had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment to have the accelerator cable casting recall 03V512000 repairs performed. Consumer missed the appointment due to an ice storm. When the consumer called to reschedule the appointment was told that he would have to wait another 4 weeks.
