Power steering randomly goes out. Sometimes there is an indicator light and other times there isn't. It's almost like it fights against you to turn or maneuver the car. And yes I have driven a vehicle without power steering. Not sure if it's the electronic power steering or the solenoid. When it first happened, there was no indicator light and I was almost in a head-on collision.

It's temporarily resolved by restarting the car but you never know how long it will last. I have found other listings of individuals with the same issue but no indication on how it was fixed. Why this isn't grounds for a recall I don't know. Still waiting to hear back from Suzuki. A new power steering system looks to be $400-600 in repairs, that's just for parts not counting labor. I am hoping my brother in law can run a diagnostic test and find the issue for sure before I can do repairs.

At any rate I am driving as little as possible until I know for sure. Looking to other makes and models around this year and they also have steering issues.
