This will be the THIRD timing chain on a vehicle with only 56K miles. 1 from factory install, 1 from warranty replace @ 28K miles....and now 1 @ 56K miles....PLUS a previous warranty engine repair. I am being told that Suzuki has authorized a completely new engine for this latest issue....I sure hope so
BTW, I have 2, 2008 XL7's and the other one is also on its 3rd timing chain, all under warranty
Update from Dec 24, 2014: SUZ did replace my engine......now on to my wifes XL 7 with 85K miles...it will need its FOURTH timing chain.
