Well, I had it fixed and it started again within 30 days of the service. I was currently about 1.5 hours away from the service. Later that year the Suzuki Dealership went out of business. Currently have the same problem and no one seems to know what to do about it.

I have been driving this car and have taken it to the shop for that sound in the steering, they thought it needed power-steering fluid but the sound has not gone anywhere. It is very annoying that this problem remains undiagnosed
