Ok, on a hot July day, I was heading to work at around 8 am. I was backing out of the driveway when, suddenly, the car shut down, and would not turn on again! I had to push the car back into the garage. I was thinking " How can this happen? I bought this car a few days ago! " ! I called a taxi to bring me to work, and then rented a Grand Am. A few days later, NHTSA recalled the car due to this defect. So, I had my car towed to the dealership, and they had my car fixed. Then, about a week later, the Yugo dealership moved, and rumors went around that Yugo was going to leave the USA. Pity they didn't stay long enough to service my failed transmission later in time!
