Pacifica Touring 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,180 miles

The gas gauge will say for example, 60 miles till E. I can drive 1 mile and it will drop to 11 miles till E. I fill like I'm always putting gas in this car. It was really annoying when we drove across country not knowing how much gas we really had. I had it checked out and they looked at me like I was crazy and said they couldn't find anything wrong. Go figure!!! I really don't like this car!!!

Actually an ongoing issue constantly. I spent more time at the fuel station putting 20 dollars in than everybody else putting in 60-80 dollars. Had the in-tank fuel pumps changed, but didn't help.

Pacifica Touring V6

  • Automatic transmission

the fuel gauge inaccurate. just when it shows half a tank it suddenly drops to low fuel. when fueling, it shuts off before it gets to the amount i paid for. for example i paid 30.00 and the fueling stops around 10.00 and i have to hand pump it several times because the fuel pump releases every time i squeeze the handle like as if the fuel tank is full but it's not. also if i only put 10.00 in when the low fuel light comes on, the fuel gauge shoots up to over half a tank. it's very frustrating.

Pacifica LL 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 92,000 miles

Got car back from transmission repair and fuel gauge not working. Would not let you fill completely. would show 120 to 130 miles to empty then drop to 26 then 2 then out of gas, even though tank still had gas. Back to dealership took about 4 more weeks for them to fix.

Pacifica LL 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,096 miles

After getting drive shaft replaced, fuel gauge quit working. Going down highway gauge dropped from 156 to 26 miles left. Knew we still had gas but car stalled and we were on highway. Showed out of gas. When filling up only lets you put in 10 to 12 dollars before shut off or gas comes out. Have to refill every other day or so. Saying we need to replace both fuel pumps etc. Too expensive and many people online say does not work. My first and LAST Chrysler they do not take care of issues like they should.
