When the problem first started I thought that we had gotten some bad gas or something because it would die on us and would run real rough. It was an old suv, so I wasn't too concerned. Until my wife said that the car shut off while driving and almost hit another car because the car was off, which means the steering wheel locked up. Luckily the car ahead of her drove and she was able to stop. I took it to work where we have a OBD scanner and the code said that the map sensor which controls the air flow and fuel going to the engine was bad. I bought the part for $97. I think that might be employee cost it might be more like $150 not sure. I unscrewed the old part which is on the front of the engine and screwed the new one in. Never did it again. Really simple fix but an annoying problem to have. I don't blame Dodge, it's an old suv and things will go out. My wife loves her SUV and we plan on getting another one when this thing finally gives up the ghost lol
