First set replaced at 10 mos old... dealer indicated was unusual... paid under warranty. Same thing happened almost exactly 10 mos after that... exact symptoms... dealer said nothing wrong. 6 wks later, took it back... brakes "shot" per dealer... they would not cover cost... took vehicle elsewhere & never returned to dealer. Since then, I have had brake pads replaced yearly due to squeaking/squealing/rubbing. Rotors replaced this last time. Mechanic is now putting on "lifetime" brakes... which seem to last just as long. Replaced some hydraulic hose that was not releasing pressure correctly, causing brakes to stick & to squeal WHILE driving.... kink in hose.... possibly poor design? And NO I do NOT drive it hard or ride brakes... I had a 2000 durango prior that I loved and NEVER had any brake issues in 3 yrs with that. Mechanic states new Durangos have much larger brake pads now....
