The cruise control was set at 65 mph, however the vehicle hit a bump and accelerated to 80 mph. The vehicle would also accelerate on its own when going over highway seams and bridges. The vehicle doesn't maintain a constant (set) speed and will vary from 5 mph and swap to regain set speed when going up long grade when engaged. Scc
