The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the passenger side headlight bulb went out. The light bulb was replaced by the contact, but the failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to elgin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (847-697-0900, located at 1010 E Chicago St, elgin, il 60120) where the contact was informed that the failure was a known issue. The technician referred the contact to NHTSA. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
