It first started out when I was in traffic and then when I would start to pick up the pace and accelerate, yesterday I was in full speed doing 120 km/h on the 401, and there is a clunk and then the lightning bolt light that has the brackets around it and the ESP light came on and I lost any acceleration.
When this has happened I pull off shut the car off, restart and it appears to be fine, but this is happening more often.
I'm not sure what the problem is... if someone knows please contact me and let me know because I have been nothing but screwed at every dealership I have been to with other problems.

My 05 Magnum recently went nutts on me. I've had it for a year and a half. Runs perfect. Slightly rougher idle over the last 4 mos. than when I bought it, but that's about it. But, last week the car went crazy on a trip from Cleveland, OH to Lex., KY. At 70mph with cruise on, on the hway, I tapped the brakes to exit...the car lost power, not sure if it was drive train at first, but turned out to be throttle. Parked the car, noticed that the lightning bolt was flashing on dash and the BAS light was on. After a minute I tried to drive it and the ABS seemed to be locking up my tires, would barely move and with the horrible clunking that comes when you lock up the abs. The idle of the car was unordinarily running at 1-1/2 to 2 K rpm's, reving up/down on it's own while in park. After shutting it off to 'cool down' it started right up and drove the remaining 4 hours. But on the way home from KY to Cleve it did it AGAIN -TWICE!!!!! The only thing I could do was deduce the common denominator, I had been using cruise control the whole way and had it in automatic for transmission....pulled over and let car cool AGAIN and drove it in Stick all the way homen with no cruise on.....It has NOT HAPPENED AGAIN AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS. For the last week I've been driving it around town in automatic, with occassional highway driving, and no more problems with it.
