Mustang GT Conv 4.6L V8

The plastic lever that tilts the seat forward on my Mustang GT broke for the 3rd time. The car has 8,400 miles on it and not under warranty anymore because it is four years old. The dealer told me that lots of people come in with the same issue. The plastic piece isn't well designed and breaks under light use. I have seen billet aluminum levers on line but would prefer to keep it stock if possible.

Cheap plastic knob installed by Ford to tilt seats forward. What is the deal with the car companies? They are willing to spend huge money on many things but leave the details out.

The handle that pulls the front seats forward to allow access to the rear seats is made of a cheap plastic... mine has broken off 3 times since ownership...these must be special ordered so its a big pain in the ass to replace them
