Guessing on the date and mileage but it was around it. 1st the sending Unit was going out, it would stop sending information to the fuel gauge and bring up an error on the display. Got the fuel pump replaced with one from the factory and it worked fine until 150,000 miles.
(guessing about the pump being the cause but everything is maintained and nothing looks dirty or in need of replacing)
When I go for a high speed acceleration or accelerating from a stop, the engine acts like it is not getting enough fuel. It will lose power and start to lunge. I have to let off the gas and slowly put my foot down and it will do better, but when you are in the passing lane and it happens with cars following, really dangerous.
