So my Mom has a 2006 Black Honda Odyssey EX-L or EX we not sure. Whenever my Mom tries to drive it fast soon it kind of breaks down. Whenever we try and go in reverse the brakes make a loud noise. The engine is also not quiet and was starting to see the lamp in the Speedometer. That's why my Mom's trying to sell her car for another brand. DON'T BUY THE ODYSSEY IT SUCKS.

Honda transmissions are not what they use to be. Honda reliability in transmissions are not woth the loyalty to the brand. I did regular service a Honda dealer and the transmission should not give me problems at this age. Dealer quote is 3000 for this change. Wow I should bought a Toyota.

After buying, with in first year , noticed weird/jerk noise intermittently may be once a week or so. Mentioned the fact to Honda Service at their dealer during schedule services and no attention was given. In fact , I thought myself that suspicion was baseless. How can a strong brand like Honda have inferior quality. After all I bought this vehicle after rejecting so many other brands in market.

Similar problem was noticed in years to follow and was notified to Technician before expiry of warranty. As the nature of problem was highly intermittent, they never paid attention and did any thing.

Now for last few months, noticed that problem is pretty significant and consistent.Every time I drive , I noticed this wining noise.

Today this problem has brought me at Honda Dealer for investigation , where form I bought this vehicle. Let's see if they will be able to help and resolve the issue, considering under warranty.....
