TSB Document:

Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM)

Summary
"TECHLINE SUMMARY ARTICLE - WHEN YOU START UP THE VEHICLE, THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM CAN TAKE FROM 5„Ÿ30 SECONDS TO FIND ITS LOCATION ON THE MAP. SOMETIMES THE SYSTEM WONFT LOCATE IT UNTIL THE VEHICLE STARTS TO MOVE. THE REASON THIS HAPPENS IS THE DELAY OF THE GPS ANTENNA DATA BEING SENT TO THE GARMIN APPLICATION. IF ITFS LONGER THAN EXPECTED, THAT DATA MAY NOT BE PROCESSED IN THE NORMAL PROCESS FLOW, WHICH CAUSES THE EXTENDED DELAY. TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE, REPLACE THE AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT. REMANUFACTURED UNITS HAVE BEEN UPDATED. WEFLL BE RELEASING A SOFTWARE UPDATE ALONG WITH A SERVICE BULLETIN THIS COMING OCTOBER."
