2014 Jeep Cherokee
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

My wife tells me that in the driveway the Jeep indicated that it needed to be in drive to shift, well it was in drive she was driving, Then the battery indicator light came on, the battery voltage dropped rapidly. She then coasted down the hill as she had brakes and the gas pedal did not affect the RPMs and she had steering. She then pulled off to the side then lost steering, she tried to then shut the Jeep off and it stayed in 'run', then she tried to start it and it tried to start as if with a dead battery. 30 minutes later the Jeep started and ran fine, the battery indicator went back up to 14V and she drove it up to the dealer where it is now.
