CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

It stopped working while taking a trip and I was not familiar with the area. I did not know what exit to get off highway. I called Uconnect and they were no help. They told me I have to have the GPS upgraded. Great. I am on a highway and lost and they told me I have to have it upgraded.
I got off the next exit I could find and found out I went 40 miles too far, and had to drive back the 40 miles then had to ask for more directions. I missed a Metal Detecting Competition Hunt and lost my fee of $200. Thanks Jeep! I called my dealer the next day and was told there has been many complaints about that year's Jeep Cherokee 2014 GPS and Jeep was waiting for Apple to upgrade the Software. Nothing they could do for me until the software is updated. They don't know how long it would take.
