Engine would not start -- replaced fuel filter which was full of odd debris [mechanic, non-dealer, cut it open to inspect]. four days later same problem. Did some research online and found several complaints that the gas tank lining can deterioatesand leave debris in tank which passes to filter then beyond. Car is now at dealer awaiting diagnosis. Dealer rep says he is unaware of any such problem with the gas tank.
