For no apparent reason my driver's side airbag light came on when I started the vehicle. Nothing had changed in the car, so this was out of nowhere. Now when I start the car, the light comes on after 1 or 2 seconds and remains on. Running my VIN through Mazda's website shows there are no recalls for my car.
Update from Dec 27, 2018: Airbag light went out after a hard acceleration when pulling into busy traffic about 3 weeks ago. Hasn't come back on since then.
