CarComplaints.com Notes: Except for a minor issue with cracked motor mounts, the 2006 MAZDA3 is a fantastic vehicle with a great reputation.

If you need to replace the motor mounts, first ask your dealer if they'll cover it -- the motor mounts were dealt with in a TSB & were recalled for some model years. Otherwise buy aftermarket motor mounts -- owners report this solves the problem. If you use the same OEM parts, they may just crack again.

My mazda run well, and is dependable with the exception of the xxxx headlights blowing. I have replaced the bulbs 1 to 2 times a year for the past 4 yrs.

I have replaced the sockets as recommended by mazda, they are sealed. I have paid to have them replaced enough times that the guys at GOODYEAR have started replacing them for free, if I supply the bulbs.

I have received warranty from the bulb manufacturer for 3 yrs now. I have tried different bulbs and it keeps happening.

I have heard that other people have had the same problems with the headlights.

My headlights keep burning out too. At first, I just thought it was my Mazda 3 but then my daughter got one and her lights keep burning out as well. We are having to replace every 1-2 months!!! I was driving behind a Mazda 3 the other day and noticed their brake lights were burnt out and started to wonder is this happening with all Mazda 3 owners? If so, Mazda needs to do something. This is not normal wear & tear.
