I bought my 2014 Nissan Rogue in October 2015. My heater seemed to be working find through that winter. Then in the spring I started to notice a lack of real heat. I started shutting my sunroof cover thinking that the cool from there was the problem. This winter, Dec/Jan 2015/16 I really started to notice more of a problem. I would only get "warm" heat on the last notch of the heat dial. If I turned it down one notch it became instantly cooler, not just less warm but actually cooler.
Took my vehicle to the dealer by my office only to hear that after 2 hours of diagnostics, there is nothing wrong. I explained the drop from the last notch to the second last notch and I was told that it is within their factory settings.
Just because factory settings are one thing, and there are multiple complaints about the same issue, maybe the factory settings need to change? Service writer told me that there are other Nissan models that have this same problem and there have been notices posted regarding it. Well Nissan, I think you need to include the 2014 Nissan Rogue in that group!
I am going to keep a running diary of temperatures in my vehicle for the next month with a digital temperature gauge attached to my vent. This will be interesting.
Here's to finding a solution!!
