This problem is that every once and awhile, after a particularly bad rainstorm, I find water under the front floor carpet mainly on the passenger side. I'm concerned about rusting of the floorboards and mold but so far I've only got water stained carpets. It is not associated with A/C use nor any other condition. One mechanic thinks it is being caused by leaves and debris clogging the rainwater drainage channels at the rear of the right front fender. Is this possible and if so, how can I check this out or clear it myself? Shouldn't Pontiac have anticipated this and made some provision to keep it from happening?
