Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Have owned the car just over one year. Odometer is just past 23K miles. Car has only been used for normal daily driving. Check engine light came on and immediately thereafter the car developed a jerk in the automatic transmission at each gear shift. Took car to the dealership and was told that there was a service bulletin for this problem and that the computer was malfunctioning and would have to be replaced with a new one with new "logic". covered under warranty.

The speedometer began to race up and down and there was a noise heard coming from the front end of the vehicle. The vehicle surged forward and crashed into the rear end of another vehicle. The front end of the vehicle was damaged. The driver and the infant in the other vehicle sustained injuries. There was no police report. The VIN was unavailable but will be added to the hardcopy.
