Corolla 1.8L

  • Manual transmission

The car has been serviced all it's life by Toyota. On its 65000 service they said they couldn't hear the noise, on the 72000 service I have been given a quote of just over 3 grand to fix the whining noise in the drive line, it needs to have the crown wheel and pinion gear replaced. Not happy at all for a low km car to have to have this replaced.

Waiting to hear if Toyota will come to the party with some of the cost of the repairs, if they don't, last Toyota I will purchase and plan to trade it in and get something else. If I am having this much trouble with this low mileage, what would it be like later on. This was my first brand new car, very disappointing.
