My daughter and I were in a car accident and a suv hit my car on the passenger side. It was a hard impact and my daughter was injured. The air bags was defective and they did not diploy when my car was hit. I did not know that there was a recall on the airbags on my vehicle. I did not receive a recall notice regarding air bags being defective. My car is damaged and what should I do regarding this matter? I will find out tomorrow on whether or not my car will be totalled or fixed. If it can be fixed, should the mechanic fixed any parts that are on recall? thank you for your help with this matter.
