Noticed a puddle of oil on driveway, traced leak to the rear axle differential gear box. Had serviced at a toyota dealer in chatham. This was a recall on this vehicle that never seemed to be done on it when I bought it (used). Right after they fixed it and I drove away with it another problem happened. Every bump I hit it made a clunking noise like it sounded the rear axle was going to fall off. Brought right back they told me they forgot to tighten something, and it was fixed but somehow I don't believe them. Nevertheless, the issue was fixed. Year into owning my first Toyota and the first issue was resolved, repair cost not too bad but definitely annoying for a company that has built it's reputation on ironclad reliability ratings. Little did I know this was only the beginning of my problems with this toyota.
