making left turn, car would not steer, brakes were to floor & car didn't stop. I accelerated at a rapid speed, headed for a building, when my left front wheel snapped off, hit another car. My speed was 12 miles per hour. I didn't get cited by the police because there was fluid of some kind that followed my car to the stopping point. That was over 5 weeks ago. I still have no car or rental car. I reported it to Toyota. They sent 2 representatives to check it out & removed their data recorder information, which is in their codes. No one has access to their codes. I am still awaiting an answer from Toyota as to what their codes tell them about my accident. Their customer service is awful. You never get to talk to your "case manager". You have to leave a message with an operator & wait at least 1 business day or more before case manager calls you back. Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem.
