My wife owns a 2011 RAV4, having previously owed a 2003 RAV4 that served hercwell with no problems.
We leased this vehicle in September 2011. She rarely drives the highway and her work is less than 1 mile from
home. All service has been performed on schedule by the original dealer Mike Erdman Toyota of Merritt Islan Florida. The original equipment Bridgestone tires Dueller H/T 65R17 has less than 4/32" of tread remaining. The service manager has indicated that the manufacturers in very competive markets have opted for soft compound tires that help lower dealer costs, but wear out very quickly.
Although he is offering to work with me to keep my business I find this too be a frustrating and disgusting practice which I intend to elevate. Please share your experience with me.
