CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.

While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

The center console top arm resting pad between the driver and the passenger does not locked in position so it moves back and forth depending on how you are leaning on it, if you have your arm on it and you move your body it slides back and forth. If you only have one hand on the steering wheel with your arm on the console pad, if the top pad moves back it will make you go right into the ditch or if it moves forward you go left into on coming traffic.

The center console slides back and forth. While driving, if you have your arm on it, it will slide. The locking mechanism does not lock in place. I think this is a safety hazard and should be corrected.
