CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.
While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

I am totally pissed about this failing transmission. I thought Toyotas lasted FOREVER. And by that I mean more than 10 years or 150,000 miles. More like 20 years and 250,000 miles.
The other thing that pisses me off is that all maintenance has been done at the dealership where I purchased it. I thought by paying a higher labor rate and taking it where the mechanics would know the product it would be in good hands!
I would also have to say that 98% or more of the 150,000 miles have been highway miles not city.
