I think it is the ignition switch. I will attempt to fix this problem 3-22-2019. I hope this will fix the no start situation. Everything else has been replaced. I do have a level of education when it comes to car repairs, a GM graduate.

This starting problem is a pain in my ass. I drive the car when it's cooled just fine. As soon as it gets hot outside, or the engine gets hot the car will not start or sometimes it will click several times and then start. If it doesn't start sometimes it won't make any noice and I have to wait 30 minutes to 2 hours for it to cool and it will start up again. I have fixed pretty much everything and nothing will do. The only thing in the starting system that I have not fixed is the ignition switch under the dash. That is my next project. i am tired of it and If I can't fix it I am gonna sell it. I hate for someone to go through the same sh*t that I had to go through though. Another thing that just recently statrted happening is the low coolant light comes on which I have checked and nothing is wrong it just comes on and the horn doesn't want to work. It shorts any fuse I put in it. I am really tired of this car. It was cheaply made and I don't recommend anyone buying a Buick at all. My friend despite what I told her bought a new 2004 Buick and she now tells me she has starter problems. I have heard the problem lies with the fact that the ignition module is mounted to the engine. It makes since because the engine gets way to hot. I did replace this part and it worked fine for a little while and it started to do it again. What kind of F*cking idiot would mount this to the engine being that it gets so hot. And the worse thing about it is that GM refuses to take resposibility and recall the problem. So let your customers keep paying for some sh*t that some idiot in the GM department decided to do. Smarts tell you not to put something as important as an ignition module on an engine that gets hot. Pull your head out of your ass. GM should recall this problem. Cause I know I am not the only one who is paying for this sh*t!!! P. S I have a 3.8L engine.
