The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that the rear defroster wire detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and the technician reattached the wire but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the rear windshield was replaced but to no avail. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.
