Door panels are separating from interior passenger door. Separating has caused issues with doors locking and airbag deployment. This is an issue the manuafaturer has been aware of for years yet still manufatures cars with this issue. Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. Issue is so common that replacement parts, which are not covered by manufacturers warranty and can cost anywhere from $1000+ per door, are backordered. www.chryslerproblems.com/300-warped-door-panels/ https://www.300cforums.com/threads/2016-chrysler-300-door-panels.277838/ https://www.carcomplaints.com/Chrysler/300/2016/accessories-interior/ https://www.motorbiscuit.com/a-lawsuit-accuses-dodge-of-failing-to-repair-defective-charger-models/ https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2021/chrysler-warped-door-panel-lawsuit-party-dismissed.shtml https://www.chargerforums.com/threads/interior-door-panels-peeling-lifting-on-newer-dodge-chargers-update-class-action-lawsuit-active.387463/page-7 https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2020/chrysler-300-dodge-charger-door-panels-coming-off.shtml

Both front door panels severely warped to the point of Cracking and causing the door locks to bind and to also cause the possibility that side air bags may not deploy as designed or deploy prematurely. Warranty and Extended Warranty refused repair claims citing manufacturer defects. Repair estimate over $2000.

Unknown, plastic around window frame is popping off. I believe it to be due to heat however was advised it may cause side air bag deployment issues. After googling I found this to be a known issue

My door panels are peeling away from the area where the trim and window meet on my driver side and passenger. Upon research, I've discovered this is an issue going back ever since 2014 with Chrysler and Dodge vehicles Upon further research, this issue can lead to issues with side air bags not being able to possibly be deployed (I have not experienced this),driver & passenger window being affected by heating and cooling of the AC (I've experienced this with my windows not being able to adequately defrost fast enough, as well as my windshield), and issues with the doors automatic locks not locking. Hundreds of thousands of Chrysler & Dodge owners have experienced this and evidence can be found online, especially in forums - in particular Mopar Forums and Reddit. My vehicle hasn't been inspected by Police, Insurance, Manufacturer in particular to this issue, as I've discovered there's nothing can be done since I'm out of warranty and refuse to pay for this. No warning lamps of that nature have illuminated. This has been an issue since late 2018, early 2019 for me. I've owned my vehicle since May 2018.

While vehicle is on and running "service air bag system" message randomly appears and disappears when the vehicle is in park or in motion. Service air bag indicator light also illuminates randomly after message is displayed and then goes out after a random amount of time has elapsed. Took vehicle to local Chrysler dealership and they said that it maybe be one of several known issues that they are aware of but no recalls have been issued on any of the possible safety issues that maybe causing the notification. They would not be able to do anything to the vehicle to fix the problem for sure and guarantee the air bags actually will work when needed.
