The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon. The passenger side door handle was broken and whenever the door was opened the passenger sustained cuts and bruises all over their hands. The door handle also cut the passengers hand when they entered the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated they would replace the door handle at her expense for the labor cost of $139. The manufacturer was called and she was not getting a favorable answer from the representative that she spoke with. The failure mileage was 49,473.
The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon. Since February of 2009, the chrome plated interior door handles have been peeling. The vehicle was taken to the repair shop in March of 2009 and the mechanic stated that the warranty was expired; therefore, the contact would have to pay for the repair. The VIN was unknown. The contact feels that this is a manufacturer defect. The failure mileage was 46,000.
