Shortly after getting my Yukon I noticed a clicking in the steering wheel. It's very random when it happens so of course when we took it to the dealership it did not happen so they could not provide any fix for it.

I had some deformation on the aluminum on the steering wheel, had the dealership replace it under warranty and started hearing the clicking when turning a few days after i took delivery of the vehicle. I haven't ad a chance to take the vehicle back to dealership yet.

Note: I have taken my vehicle for vibration issues twice and the issue had not yet been resolved!

my steering starting clicking while turning, very annoying

I bought my 2015 yukon xl in April 2014. Was soooo excited to be the first one in town to get one. So a year later I started feeling and hearing this clicking in the steering wheel as I'm making turns. It doesn't affect the driving or handling or anything else like that, it is just completely ANNOYING AS HELL!! I keep thinking, I didn't spend all this money to have my steering wheel annoy the crap out of me every time I drive it. It feels like and sounds like it rubs against a hard piece of plastic on the inside of the steering wheel itself. Can't pinpoint exactly where, but its there right in front of me when I drive. So I finally made an appointment at the dealership, after an hour and a half they came out and told me that this problem has been reported by other owners and nobody can seem to pinpoint the problem. So the only solution right now was to replace the whole steering column. Which turns out to be on BACK ORDER and they aren't sure when it will come in. Has anyone had this problem with a similar vehicle?? I think I am ready to trade it in for a foreign vehicle. I should have NEVER bought a domestic vehicle in the first place. And yes this is my first domestic SUV.
