The contact owns a 2007 Hummer H3. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired two years ago per NHTSA campaign number: 10V179000 (structure). While driving approximately 55 mph, the hood louver rattled against the hood and became loose, causing the hood louver to detach from the vehicle. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
