Purchased a 2009 Hummer H3 last year with 72k, My daughter drives it for work and I always make sure it has maintenance(synthetic oil changes, Tire rotations, 1 Recall) Last week the motor started knocking without the oil light or check engine light on. Had her turn it off and proceeded to put in 4.5 quarts of oil... This car does not leak oil or burn it...But after a quick google search there are issues after issues on the oil problem and no indication lights, Cylinder 2,4, & 5 misfire(New head) and ignition issues we are lucky not to have had... Now I'm facing 2 est. of 7900$ to put in a rebuilt Jasper motor, Called GM Customer service where they basically told me they don't stand behind their product.
