I love my Inifinite..however, I was very disappointed when I was all packed for a trip and my car would not start, even when I tried using the key. I called AAA to check the battery. That was not the problem. So I had them to take the car to Sawgrass Infinite in Tamarac, Fl.

They told me that my problem was the Steering Lock and it was very expensive to fix. As a matter of fact he told me it will cost me $2,100.00. They had the car running, so I drove it home, and we rented a car for the trip.

I went on line to search information about this matter, and discovered that 39 people had reported this same problem. My concern is this.If Infinite knows that this is a problem, then why not do a recall on the 2010 EX35 car and solve the problem?

I didn't have the work done, and so far the car is starting. But I don't know for how long. I am so afraid to drive the car. I pray every time I get ready to drive the car as to whether it will start.

What is your solution to the problem?

I am writing this post due to a life threatening incident while driving my 2010 Infiniti EX35(VIN:jn1aj0hr5am757428). I was driving the vehicle on route US1, NJ around 45-50 miles per hour when the steering wheel got stuck and would not move. I was in the first lane of a 3 lane road and with lot of difficulty was able to stop it on the shoulder. This was really crazy that the steering wheel could get stuck while driving the car. I called the service center (Ray Catena, Infiniti, Edison, NJ) and they said that the power would have got lost and hence the steering wheel got stuck.

I asked if they could tow the vehicle and they mentioned they could not tow the vehicle and it was my responsibility. I am really surprised by such a poor lack of service from a showroom where I actually bought the car. Anyways I am too scared to drive the vehicle again and would like to sell the car so that I can buy a different model car. I have towed the car to the ray catena infiniti service center and awaiting their response...
