To make the long story short, Infiniti has a problem with water collecting in the ventilation system creating mold and mildew . Personally the car has a very strong smell of urine. I am sure there is some kind of health hazard associated with this, but never the less, even though Infiniti has acknowledged that there is a problem, I have been continually charged to try to disguise the problem from the service department with air fresheners and charcoal filters. The manager of the service department admitted that she had a similar problem with her 2005 model and she also had to install a charcoal filter at her expense and live with the smell. She got her car for free, I paid for my car, I shouldn't have to accept this situation. The bottom line is the dealership claims that they don't build the cars they just try to fix them. They are not addressing the problem, they are just disguising it. This is considered a luxury car and Infiniti is certainly not treating their customers with the proper respect and consideration they deserve. I am truly disappointed and would like everyone to know about this.
