2006 G35X cruise control stopped working. I have replaced both brake switches and the steering wheel controls. Still does not work, seems to be a common problem with Nissan and Infiniti vehicles.

Update from Oct 29, 2018: Replacing the clockspring solved the problem. Be aware there are several different part numbers of clocksprings, if you get the wrong one it might fit but won't fix the problem.

When replacing the clockspring, don't disconnect the steering angle sensor. Supposedly can break easily if it is unplugged. To avoid disconnecting the sensor, just unscrew it from the clockspring assembly.
