This issue was resolved almost 2 years ago. The car would rev up causing unintended acceleration. This was extremely dangerous ALMOST causing me to rear end vehicles in stop and go traffic. As I was starting to get used to the problem I would be ready to react with the application of the brake. What finally solved the issue was cleaning the throttle bodies. No offense Infiniti, but I know I'm not the only one who experienced this according to online forums. Really should have issued a recall for this.

While at a red light and foot on brakes, the car's engine starts reving up and starts to jump with force. Brakes were completely pressed down with all my might, but the car continued to jump forward rhythmically until I was able to place car in park. No accident occurred only because no car was in front of me. Car was returned to dealership and the sale was voided.
