Whenever a downshift is needed for moderate or greater acceleration (mostly for passing), there is a significant delay before the transmission downshifts. Often, the accelerator must be almost fully depressed, resulting in a delay of a couple of seconds before the transmission violently downshifts 3-4 gears.
