We bought a 2008 Infiniti M35 used in December of 2013 as a third car for our family. We liked the G but head room was a little tight so this was the next best thing. The driving experience is for the most part enjoyable however about 3 weeks ago the speaker in the driver's door started making this horrible static sounding thump when there is bass in a song that is playing. It occurs mainly when the music is very low in volume, and it appears right this second to only be this one speaker. We are not sure if the speaker is dying or what, however it is extremely annoying to say the least. Sometimes unless you blast the music, it is overpowering and you cannot enjoy the song because you have this annoying noise in the background.

Even though we do not have the upgraded Bose system, it disappoints me that a reputable luxury car maker like Infiniti does not put better factory sound equipment in their cars.

Due to a combination of this, less than ideal MPG, and premature break ware, we might be trading it in for something different but we have not decided yet. It pains me to think that we might but the combination of everything is getting to be a lot.
