We had the same problem described in complaint #1 on the 2nd day after puchasing out car from Carmax. We traded in our $25k Acura MDX with an extra $7500 down. After only 2 days of driving the car, it's been back at the dealership for 2 weeks. We are currently in a rental car (paying out of pocket) with our first car payment approaching. Both Carmax and Infiniti are saying they can't find a problem, but I refuse to drive that death trap until someone can guarantee me the brakes won't fail again!! In the meantine we're also being sued by the driver we hit when the brakes failed. This is a nightmare! This is my first and will be my last Infiniti!!!

I had two incidents within two days when the brake pedal went all of the way to the floor. Fortunately, one time I was already at a complete stop; the second time I was almost completely stopped. I am afraid to drive the car for fear it will happen again when I am not already stopped and will result in serious injury or death. The dealer says there is nothing wrong with the brakes and has been "unable to replicate" the problem. They claim that the 2013 model has a completely different brake assembly from the prior years' models that had a verified problem with the brake booster. Everything I have looked at indicates there is probably a problem with the hydraulics in the master (or a booster?) cylinder. The car has been at the dealer for over a week awaiting an inspection by the consumer affairs division of Infiniti.

This is totally unacceptable service from this dealer and the manufacturer for what is a very expensive vehicle, and only has 26,000 miles. This is the first and last Infiniti I'll ever purchase.
