Car has never seemed like it ran smoothly. Have taken it in but have always been told everything was good. I assumed the CVT transmission just ran crappy due to what I had read. We were on a family trip headed to breakfast. The car just gave out. I pressed the gas and nothing happened. I was able to get it across the street and safely park. After about an 4 hours we tried to start the vehicle. Went about 2 miles and smoke began coming out. Had to tow it 400 miles home. Took it to Infiniti. Was told I needed new transmission. Never buying another Infiniti again.
